History of
International
Healers Without
Borders (IHWOB)
International
Healers Without
Borders was
founded in 2008
in El Dorado
County by a
small group of
individuals with
the intention of
creating a
worldwide
network of
healers, each
with a desire to
serve those in
need in their
local
communities. The
first year
involved
brainstorming
and meetings as
we formulated
our mission, and
worked on our
non-profit
application
forms for the
State and the
IRS. We were
granted our non
profit status in
May of 2010.
In the summer of
2009 we began
partnering with
Family
Connections a
non profit
family resource
center in El
Dorado County to
introduce their
staff to our
services and in
January we began
offering our
services to
their
clientele.
The healing and
teaching
services we
currently offer
include:
Reiki
Spirit
Counseling
Emotional
Freedom
Technique
Myo Fascial
Release
Bowen
Our Direction
into the Future
As we enjoy
providing
healing within
our community we
will continue to
build our
organization’s
structure,
including
administrative
support, fund
raising to
support our
mission,
maintaining the
community’s
trust in our
volunteers;
growing within
our initial
community and
expanding to
additional
communities
through partners
who replicate
our methods. All
aimed at
increasing
physical,
energetic and
subtle energetic
healing services
being provided
to those in
need.
Who we are
We are
individual
healers, some
with active
healing
practices in our
community. We
are a loosely
knit group held
together by the
enjoyment of
providing these
healing
services, and
the belief that
day by day and
one by one
individuals in
need and our
communities can
experience
improved health
as these
modalities are
experienced,
used, and
learned.
